Celebrating the sustainable active lifestyle that’s based around your preferences.
I’ve realized that I struggle with my body image the most when I’m not keeping up with my promises to myself.

Precision Nutrition's "The cost of getting lean" infographic:
“You’re going to screw up, and as long as you intentionally try to learn something from each one than you turn into an interesting part of your success story rather than the final chapter of your failure story.”
The truth is, we decide who it is we want to be. If we’re not satisfied with our position in life, we have the power today to start to change it. Truly believing that the labels put on us aren’t who we actually are takes time to believe, and much more time to actually put into practice. If you’re trying to shake labels from your past or present, please keep working through it. You’re on the right track and this path WILL pay off. It probably already has.
Be kind to yourself, there is no one as deserving of your love as YOU. This is one of the hardest lessons I have ever learned but once I switched from the "mean girl" attitude to one of grace and kindness, I noticed that I am happier in all aspects of my life.
I am not making excuses for what happens, because we need to take ownership of ourselves and take responsibility for our actions, but we can do things right and still have external factors influence our outcomes.
Focus on what you’re doing right, add specific actions gradually, evaluate and adjust regularly.
Set realistic expectations. Things don’t happen quickly and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Motivation does not get you through the hard moments. That’s where discipline comes into play. It’s learning to do the things you know you need to do even when you have zero desire to do it. That’s how you meet your goals.
