Where’s the best place for listeners to connect with you?:

Describe your weight loss journey.:

Man not sure where to start. My weight really got out of control in 2003 after getting hurt as a cop. I ruptured a disc in my back after falling from a fence chasing a guy. Since then I had 3 back surgeries that really slowed me down. I put on 100lbs over those year and in 2017 I suffered a stroke at the age of 38. My heaviest weight was 453lbs. I had completely given up on life and was waiting to die. I was depressed. I always felt like weight loss surgery was cheating. Never judged anyone for doing it just wasn't for me. I've never been one to ask for help but finally gave in after setting my pride aside. Best decision I ever made. Down 185lbs so far and feel great.

What’s a skill you developed as a result of working through your weight loss process?: I wouldn't say its a skill but I feel more motivated to get into the gym and stay active.

What has that skill led to outside of weight loss?: Building confidence in myself and the way I look.

What advice would you give to someone working through their weight loss journey?: Never give up on yourself. Never be so prideful that you don't seek help.

What's something most people don't know about you that has nothing to do with weight loss?: I really feel like I was put on this earth to help others, to motivate others, to make others feel good about themselves even as crazy as it sounds when I wouldn't help myself.
