Hey there. Moving forward from past hurt is one of the hardest steps we take. It’s not about minimizing what happened, nor is it about forgetting.
Instead, it’s about not letting those experiences dictate our present and future. I've seen firsthand how holding onto past pain can rule someone’s entire life, and it’s heartbreaking. Healing takes time, courage and working with a therapist that you have a solid working relationship with.
The journey is ongoing, and even when you’ve made strides, some memories may still sting. But with consistent work, you can reclaim your mental energy and live the life you truly want.

Focusing on your own process doesn’t mean shutting out the world, it’s about creating a “mental bubble” to protect your mindset. Surround yourself with supportive people, but remember, your results come from your actions, not theirs. Stay consistent, stay self-aware, and most importantly, stay connected to yourself.
