You might not check boxes from a list everyday, but mental toughness and discipline can certainly become a permanent part of your life.
It is scary to me because time is one thing you can’t get back. You can’t buy more of it. You can’t slow it down. You literally get to choose how to spend each second of your life, which is exciting and scary all in the same thought.
Loving yourself as you are doesn't mean you have to be complacent. It means acknowledging and accepting where you are while working towards a healthier, happier you.
Most of us crave staying in our own comfort zone. We will spend our whole life procrastinating instead of taking action. If you never go outside of your comfort zone though, you slowly die inside.
