Hey there. Every time I step into public, people notice the way I walk. Having Cerebral Palsy, it’s impossible to go unnoticed. At first, this used to bother me. But over time, I realized something: I’m not just someone walking through life—I’m a walking billboard, and not just any billboard. Picture one with fancy neon lights, flashing bright and bold for everyone to see.
Instead of shying away from the attention, I’ve decided to own it. And you know what? It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase what I stand for—quite literally. I’m always rocking my YLF gear, but there’s a special place in my heart (and my wardrobe) for the “Three AFs.” These designs aren’t just clothing; they’re reminders of values I live by every single day. Values I hope you’ll embrace, too.
Resilient AF: You Keep Showing Up
Let’s start with resilience. If you think about everything you’ve been through, everything you’ve faced, and yet here you are—still showing up—that’s resilience in action. Life isn’t easy, and we’ve all had moments that tested us, stretched us, and made us question whether we could keep going. But resilience isn’t about never falling. It’s about getting back up, again and again.
Wearing "Resilient AF" is more than a fashion statement. It’s a declaration. It’s saying to the world, “Yeah, I’ve been through some things, but I’m still here.” It’s a reminder to yourself that you’re stronger than you give yourself credit for.
Consistent AF: Positive Actions, Repeated Regularly
Next up is consistency. Being consistent doesn’t mean being perfect. It means showing up and doing the work, even on the days when it’s hard. It’s about taking those small, positive actions and doing them frequently enough that they start to build momentum.
Maybe you’re showing up for workouts. Maybe you’re drinking more water, journaling, or making time to connect with people who lift you up. Whatever it is, consistency is what turns small steps into giant leaps over time. When I wear "Consistent AF," it’s a nod to the grind, to the small things that add up to big results. And guess what? You’re doing some pretty amazing things, too.
Confident AF: Owning Who You Are
Finally, there’s confidence. And here’s the thing: Confidence isn’t a switch you flip. It’s built by working through the inner turmoil, the self-doubt, and the fear that can keep us stuck. Confidence comes from taking ownership of who you are and what you do—from standing tall and saying, “This is me, and I’m proud of it.”
For years, I struggled with confidence. Growing up, I often felt like I was at the mercy of other people’s perceptions. But over time, I learned to embrace who I am, to find strength in my story, and to take pride in the journey that brought me here. "Confident AF" isn’t about arrogance—it’s about alignment. It’s about living authentically and boldly, exactly as you are.
Keep Going: You’re Doing Great
If you’ve made it this far, I hope this message resonates with you. You’re resilient. You’re consistent. And you’re confident. Even if you’re not quite feeling it yet, keep working on things. Progress takes time, and you’re doing better than you realize.
Every step you take is a step forward, and every time you show up for yourself, you’re building something incredible. Keep going—you’re doing great. 💪🏻
