Build Momentum, Not Shame

Hey there. What if you appreciated your body at every stage of your journey? Not just when you hit a certain goal, not just when you looked a certain way, but all the time. I know that sounds like a completely different approach from what you’ve probably been told, but it can change everything.

Your body is going to change. It will be stronger at times, weaker at others. Sometimes more agile, sometimes more stiff. Sometimes heavier, sometimes lighter. It’s not about chasing the perfect body. It’s about respecting the one you have while still working toward what you want.

Most of us have spent years trying to “fix” our bodies. We’ve picked ourselves apart in the mirror. We’ve thought if we could just lose the weight or follow the perfect plan, we’d finally be happy. But the truth is, if you’re always looking for flaws, you’ll always find them.

I want to offer something different. What if you built your entire health and fitness routine around appreciation instead of dissatisfaction? What if your foundation was self-respect instead of self-judgment?

Start with something simple. Commit to fifteen minutes of movement a day. That’s it. Walk, stretch, lift, play with your kids… whatever works. Then commit to one serving of vegetables a day. Frozen, fresh, canned… it all counts.

These small actions are enough to build momentum. You’ll feel it. That consistency, even with basic actions, creates trust with yourself. You’ll likely start doing more over time. Not because you feel like you have to, but because it feels good. That’s the key.

This isn’t about how fast you lose weight or how perfect your meals look. It’s about building a plan you can stick with. A plan that reflects your preferences. A plan that grows with you.

And when it’s rooted in appreciation, you stop running from who you are. You stop using fitness as a punishment. You start seeing it as a tool for living a better life.

If that sounds like the approach you’ve been looking for, I can help. Let’s work on building your process together through The YLF Experience. You’ll get guidance, support, and structure without the pressure to be perfect.
