DLF 002: Already making tweaks

It was a pretty standard morning for me. I had a bottle of water, iced coffee with a banana before heading to the gym.

Today was a short lower body workout. I did a circuit of back extensions, and side bends - 15 reps on each side equal in one set. I did three sets total. For leg curls I did seven total sets:

four sets of 15 reps at 40 pounds

followed by a pyramid structure – 12 reps at 55 pounds, 10 reps at 70 pounds and eight reps at 85 pounds.

I wrapped the workout up with three 15 rep sets 40 of seated leg extensions, 40 lbs for each set.

Today’s walk was just under 40 minutes long, it was a nice day. When I came back inside I had a bowl of oats with apples pecans brown sugar and cinnamon.

I had EMDR therapy this afternoon then met my parents for dinner, where we had pizza, a Caesar salad and a dessert pizza. I almost forgot about the 10,000 steps I needed to get for today since it’s the first day of Steptember. Steptember is a 10,000 daily step challenge that spreads awareness around Cerebral Palsy.

No flexibility work today. I’ll be back on DDPY tomorrow.
