Hey there. One of my biggest frustrations in the fitness industry is how often professionals talk at people instead of with them. If you've been on your health journey for a while, you probably know exactly what I mean. It’s that tone where someone tells you what you should do, without ever asking what you’ve already tried or what you actually prefer.
Here’s what I believe. You are the expert of your own life. You’ve been living in your body for decades. You’ve gone through all kinds of programs, routines, and schedules. You know your day-to-day better than anyone. So when someone comes in trying to tell you how to live without knowing anything about your reality, that’s a red flag.
I don’t want to be that person. My job is not to control your journey. My job is to give you tools, context, and support so you can build a sustainable approach to fitness and life. You are the architect. That means you’re the one designing your process, your habits, your outcomes. I’m here to help you develop the blueprint that works best for you.
This is the heart of the inside/out approach. You build from within. You focus on your mindset, your experiences, your preferences... and then everything else follows. There are always going to be things outside of your control. But once you take full responsibility for what is within your reach, your whole perspective shifts.
Even if you decide to work with me directly, the power stays with you. I can walk alongside you. I can help you organize your thoughts and actions. But I’m never going to pretend to know your life better than you do. That kind of guidance only works when it’s rooted in your values, not my assumptions.
I’ve had to learn and unlearn a lot over the years. My opinions on things have changed. That’s a good thing. I want to grow.
