You Can Love Yourself and Still Want to Grow

Hey there. I’ve talked with so many people who feel like they have to beat themselves up in order to make progress. Like they won’t grow unless they criticize everything they see in the mirror. And I get it. Because for most of us, that negative voice has been there for years. It becomes familiar. But just because it’s familiar doesn’t mean it’s helpful.

I want to challenge the idea that you have to hate your body to change it. That you can’t love who you are and still work on becoming healthier. I believe you can appreciate yourself, right now, as you are. And from that place of acceptance, build habits and routines that support your goals. Not because you think you’re broken, but because you know you deserve better.

The weight loss industry doesn’t want you to think this way. They market to your insecurities every single day. They make money when you stay in a cycle of self-doubt. That cycle keeps you second-guessing everything you do. It keeps you thinking that your worth is tied to a number or a reflection. But it’s not.

The truth is, shifting your mindset is hard. You’re going up against years of conditioning. You’ll slip. Your old thoughts will creep back in. That’s normal. That’s why having a default mindset to return to is so important. One that reminds you… I am enough. I am worthy of love and appreciation. Not someday. Not when the scale hits a goal. But now.

This is what the inside/out approach is all about. Creating a foundation where your thoughts, actions, and self-belief work together. I’ve built daily habits that are quick and sustainable so that you’re reinforcing belief in yourself without draining your energy. Especially the ones that help you reconnect with your mindset and emotional health.

If this resonates with you, I want you to know you’re not alone. It’s not about toxic positivity or pretending things are perfect. It’s about practicing self-acceptance while you build the life you want. And if you want help doing this… I’ve got you.
