Jumping From Plan to Plan Won’t Help You

Hey there. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably noticed that my message about health and fitness keeps coming back to the same core principles. There’s a reason for that.

First, the mechanics of weight loss and fitness are simple. The process itself isn’t complicated. Eat in a way that works for you, move your body regularly, and stay consistent. That’s it. But the second part is where most people struggle—consistency.

Most people are not consistent, and that’s why they don’t see the results they want. When progress feels too slow, it’s easy to start searching for something new. You jump from one plan to the next, hoping to find the “perfect” approach that will give you fast results. The problem is, real results don’t happen overnight.

I know this because I’ve lived it. My own weight loss journey started in the late ‘90s and continued for over a decade. I tried different programs, struggled with ups and downs, and spent years figuring out what worked. Now, after working in this industry as a personal trainer, boot camp instructor, and coach, I’ve seen the same patterns play out over and over. People don’t fail because the process is too hard. They fail because they keep searching instead of sticking with a plan long enough to let it work.

That’s why my message doesn’t change. I want you to build a lifestyle that works for you. Set specific daily actions, focus on what you can control, and collect progress over time. If you do this for a year, you’ll see real results—on average, one to two pounds of weight loss per week. That’s sustainable progress. It’s not a crash diet or a drastic water weight drop. It’s the kind of progress that actually lasts.

I live this lifestyle every day. My weight fluctuates within a range, but I don’t stress about it because I know I have the habits in place to maintain my progress. That’s the kind of relationship with fitness I want you to have.

So if you ever wonder why I keep repeating these same principles, it’s because they work. And I want you to succeed.
