From Experience to Execution

Hey there. If you’re on a weight loss journey, I want to remind you of something most people in this space won’t say… you already have what you need. You’ve been doing this for a while. You’ve tried different plans. You’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. And even though it might not feel like it, your experience is your advantage.

One of the most important shifts I made in my own process was realizing I had to build my approach around what I actually enjoyed. Not what I was told to enjoy. Not what I thought I “should” do. But what I could realistically do based on my current life. When you start from that point, everything begins to feel more manageable.

If you’ve been around the fitness space long enough, you’ve probably been told to set a goal, attach a deadline to it, and go all in. The problem is… weight loss doesn’t work on a strict schedule. You can’t force your body to lose a specific number of pounds in a specific number of weeks. You can take consistent actions, but the outcomes are always going to vary.

When you take the deadline away, you take back control. You stop chasing quick results and start building a life you can actually live. That’s what makes the change stick. And yes, there’s a time and place for stretch goals or restrictive plans. But that should come after you’ve built a solid foundation. Most people are trying to do the hardest version of this before they’ve even learned how to stay consistent.

Part of my story is that I live with cerebral palsy. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over twenty years and in marketing for over fifteen. My story doesn’t look like most coaches’ stories, and that’s exactly the point. Your story doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s either. In fact, the more you lean into your own experience, the more powerful your results will be.

If you’ve been on this journey for years, you’re probably ready to break free from all the starting and stopping. You’re ready to stop trying to “look the part” and just start feeling like yourself again. You can do that. And I want to help you do it by building a foundation that actually fits your life.

If you’re ready to stop chasing perfect and start building your plan from the inside/out, join one of the YLF programs. You’ll get structure, guidance, and the support to build something that lasts.
