What’s one habit you do almost daily?: Workout early.. typically before most wake up

What’s one of your normal routines?: Besides working out, checking in with my team/ accountability teams

How long did it take for the above routine to stick? : Not long, less than a month to get into that routine

Describe your weight loss journey.: Started 3 years ago after feeling ashamed on how I looked. I was tired of being embarrassed, viewed life negative. Full of anger. Was tired of many attempts on trying to lose weight.

Decided enough was enough!

What’s a skill you developed as a result of working through your weight loss journey?: Having the discipline, self motivation to show up for myself give it all I got! I’ve learned to find that confidence and self love within myself and being able to work my team to help them not only look good but feel good too!

What has that skill led to outside of weight loss?: Since the journey has started, it’s taught me to be a better family member, husband, friend and all around, better person to the community. Wanting to help others when they feel down...

What have you learned about yourself over the last year or so?: I’ve learned in order to achieve certain goals, I’d have to step out of my comfort zone. Keep on pushing on those days I don’t feel it. Remember my why and don’t stop.

What advice would you give to someone working through their weight loss journey?: Have fun, be patient, remember that any progress is still good progress! Can’t expect perfection! Those days you aren’t feeling it or feel close to giving up, dont! Remember why you started. Oh, never compare your journey to someone else’s!!!

What resources would you recommend listeners check out?: Any program you do, any nutritional plan .. anything you start on your journey... research what you can! Because what works for one person, may not work for you!

What are you working on now?: Was training for a classic physique show for past 6/7 months but recently got canceled due to covid...but have something in the works.
