Hey there. Lately, I’ve been listening to Andy Frisella’s podcast. Not just casually here and there. I’ve gone all in. I’ve listened to dozens of episodes across nearly a decade of content. It started out as something I had playing in the background, but some moments pulled me in. And what kept me going was the realization that even if I didn’t agree with everything he said, there was still so much I could learn.
This wasn’t just about business or fitness. It was about perspective. About staying open-minded. And about making sure I’m always evaluating my own goals, habits, and the standard I hold myself to.
One of the biggest takeaways for me was the concept of the Power List. It’s five items, every day, that push you forward. These aren’t your usual habits. These are things that challenge you. Once they become routine, they come off the list. If they slip, they go back on. That kind of intentional structure clicked with me. It reminded me that progress isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing the right things consistently.
Another shift came when Andy said something that stopped me. He asked, Are you living up to your potential? That question got in my head and it hasn’t left. I realized that even though I’ve hit major goals in the past, I’ve been coasting a bit. I wasn’t moving with the same purpose I used to. And I needed to change that.
So I started applying this mindset to everything. Not just content. Not just business. Even in the everyday things, like wiping down the stove after dinner. If I noticed something out of place, I started asking, Is this who I want to be? Am I living up to my potential in this moment? That answer has become a simple yes or no. And if it’s a no, I get to work.
The deeper lesson is this. You don’t have to agree with everything someone says to learn from them. And when you focus on the small things daily, while still keeping massive goals in your vision, you’ll end up far beyond where you thought you’d be.
