The Fitness Industry Needs Your Voice

Hey there. There has never been a better time to try to lose weight. I really mean that. We have access to so many tools now and most of them are cheap or even free. You can get a gym membership for ten to twenty bucks a month. You can find endless workout programs online. You can scan a barcode with your phone and instantly track your food. You can build your own workouts with resources from the library or even just by using YouTube and your social feeds.

That’s what makes this such an exciting time to be part of the fitness industry. If you’re someone who wants to lose weight or you’re thinking about coaching others, this is the perfect time to jump in. We have the tools, and we also have the ability to push back against the cliche diet culture that promises quick fixes and short-term results.

The biggest difference now is that we can tell people the truth. That truth is simple. If you want to see long-term results, do the best you can consistently. Be patient. Track your progress. Focus on the day-to-day actions. Eat in a way that supports your goals. Exercise regularly. And most importantly, start becoming a fan of yourself.

That’s what self-love looks like in this space. It’s not some big over-the-top performance. It’s about showing up for yourself each day and being kind when things don’t go perfectly. Most people who are trying to lose weight don’t have the best relationship with themselves. And you can’t fix that with a 30-day challenge or a new supplement. But you can start to fix it by having real conversations, by sending someone a message, by posting encouragement on your feed, and by reminding yourself to stay the course.

If you’re someone trying to lose weight, this is your time. If you want to coach others, now is your time too. We have never had more tools, more support, or more opportunity to make a real impact. Use those tools. Share your story. Focus on your actions. And tune out the noise.

And if you’re ready to build a sustainable plan that actually works with your life, I’d love for you to join me in The YLF Experience. We’re building something real here, and I’d love for you to be part of it.
