I Don’t Want You To Feel Regret
Hey there. I don’t want you to look back one day and realize you spent years trying to become someone you thought you were supposed to be instead of embracing who you already are. I’ve seen too many people chase the perfect plan, the perfect body, or the perfect moment, only to end up feeling like they wasted time. Fitness is supposed to help you live more fully, not make you feel like you’re constantly falling short.
I’ve been there too. I’ve followed the plans, listened to all the “rules,” and believed that if I could just get everything right, then I’d finally be happy. But here’s what I’ve learned. Happiness doesn’t show up when you reach a certain weight or hit a personal best. It shows up when you start living in alignment with who you are, when you stop punishing yourself for being human, and when you start treating yourself with the same grace you’d give someone you care about.
Regret often comes from believing you’re behind. But you’re not behind. You’re learning. Every time you restart a program, every time you stumble and come back, you’re actually strengthening your ability to move forward. You’re teaching yourself resilience. You’re proving you can handle the ups and downs that come with this journey. That’s something to be proud of.
I don’t want you to regret the time you spent worrying about things that didn’t matter. Like the number on the scale, or what other people thought of your progress. I want you to focus on the things that do matter. The energy you have to live your life. The confidence you build by keeping promises to yourself. The calm that comes from knowing you’re doing the best you can today.
This goes beyond fitness too. I don’t want you to regret not saying what needed to be said, not taking the trip, not pursuing the thing that keeps calling you. Fear, perfectionism, and self-doubt can keep you stuck, but the cost of staying there is too high. You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to start.
When you look back years from now, I hope you see that the turning point was the moment you chose to live life your way. Not based on what others told you to do, but based on what you felt was right for you. No more regret. Just lessons, growth, and peace.
If you’re ready to build that kind of trust and freedom in your fitness and life, I’d love for you to join The YLF Experience.
