Hey there. When it comes to fitness, there’s something the industry rarely talks about—your words matter way more than mine.
For as long as I can remember, the fitness industry has followed the same pattern. It’s a space where experts tell you what to eat, how to exercise, when to sleep, and even how to manage stress. While some of that information is helpful, the biggest thing it doesn’t account for is your individual life.
General fitness advice can be useful, but the key is figuring out how to apply it to your specific situation. That’s why I value the comments, questions, and feedback I get from you. It helps me frame my responses in a way that actually makes sense for your journey.
Yesterday, I asked a simple question—why do you think you need to lose weight so fast? I got a ton of different responses, each with unique reasoning behind it. That question alone showed me something important… even when people share the same fitness goal, their reasons, struggles, and challenges are completely different.
And that’s exactly why the one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work.
So if I tell you, “Here’s what you should do,” without knowing your lifestyle, your habits, or your personal challenges, that advice probably won’t stick. What matters is how you think about your journey, how you talk to yourself, and how you fit things into your life.
This is also why a lot of people say, I know what to do, I just need to do it. The truth is, most people haven’t figured out how to fit “what they know” into their daily routine. That’s why I always ask, why? Why do you feel like you need to do it a certain way? Why do you think you’re struggling with consistency? The better you understand your own habits, the easier it is to make real progress.
Fitness is not about following rules someone else set for you. It’s about finding what works within your own life.
So if you take one thing from this, let it be this—your words, your thoughts, and your process matter more than any generic advice out there. Make sure what you’re doing fits into your life, not just what someone else says should work.
