Where can listeners find you?:

I’m over on Instagram.

What’s one habit you do almost daily?:

Connect with one person who always inspires me

Tell us about some of your routines: Mornings - always get ready for the day. Make my bed. Take a few minutes to meditate or just breath and usually I have a healthy breakfast. Evening is dinner, time to relax which is usually a bubble bath after working out. Journal before bed.

How long did it take for the almost daily action and the above routines to stick? :

3-4 months if that after making adjustments.

What’s a skill (or skills) you’ve developed as a result of working through your weight loss journey?:

Self compassion - I use to negatively self talk all day everyday. Now I’m able to catch those negative thoughts and redirect them.

What has that skill lead to outside of weight loss?:

Improving my mental health. Not having to always look for outside fulfillment but being able to find it within.

What have you learned about yourself over the last year or so?:

I truly am stronger than I ever gave myself credit for.

What advice would you give to anyone working through their weight loss journey?:

Just keep going. Even if you stumble, pick yourself up and keep going. If you hit a stall, just keep going. It’s true that we won’t always be motivated, but we have to be dedicated.

What resources should we check out?:

Carb Manager
Calm app

This Naked Mind book

What are you working on now (or planning for the future)? Doesn’t have to be fitness related :

Advocating for mental health on a higher level. Also, hitting that 100 lb loss
