Weight loss is the byproduct, not the goal

The scale number will go up & down one weigh in to the next throughout your weight loss process. This isn’t a reflection of your effort “I did ___ this week so I expect the scale to show ___”, it’s just a data point to keep in mind as you keep going. What you’re looking for is a downward trend over time. How much time? It depends. 😉 two months is more accurate than one. Six months is more accurate than two. Six years is more accurate than six months.

Keep focusing on what’s within your control and the stuff that isn’t will work itself out.
