Hey there. Today is Friday. Not Monday, not January 1, not “the perfect time”... just a regular Friday. And this is the day everything changes for you. Because you’re not starting another diet. You’re done with that.
This is the day you stop falling off wagons and start building a life you can actually live in. No more swinging between “on track” and “off the rails.” No more starting over. You’re going to apply the framework and finally move forward.
If you haven’t already listened to episode 175 of the podcast, go back and check that one out. That’s where I walk through the framework in detail. But here’s the simple version. You build your plan around you. Your preferences, your lifestyle, your day-to-day reality.
You don’t wait until Monday. You don’t let weekends derail your progress. You just keep going. You eat the foods you enjoy, track your intake, and collect information. No good foods. No bad foods. Just numbers. If something is 400 calories and you don’t think it’s worth it, eat half. Track it. Move on.
This weekend, start by collecting information. Don’t judge it. Don’t try to “eat clean.” Just track. Then you’ll use that info to build your minimum daily actions. These are your daily non-negotiables. Then set your weekly goals and check in with progress updates every two to four weeks. Before you know it, you’re building real momentum.
If you start now, you’ll have months of progress under your belt by the time New Year’s hits. While everyone else is starting over in January, you’ll already be living the life they’re trying to create. No crash diets. No all-or-nothing resolutions. Just steady, consistent progress.
I want this to be the last time you ever “restart.” You’ve spent enough time thinking about weight loss. It’s time to take simple actions and move forward.
And if you want a simple, sustainable program that helps you apply the framework and get results for life, join The YLF Experience. Let’s make this Friday your new starting point.
