The Fear of Weight Regain Can Show Up Before Anything Goes Wrong

Your GLP 1 can be working exactly as you hoped and you can still feel like everything is about to fall apart. The scale changes. Hunger feels different. A food thought shows up. Suddenly you are looking for proof that the old experience is coming back.

Sometimes the fear of losing control can feel almost identical to actually being out of control.

That is where I think observation becomes useful, just stepping back long enough to notice what you are doing. Are you weighing more often because you are gathering information, or because you need reassurance? Are you paying attention to hunger because it is useful, or because every change feels like a warning? There is no universal answer.

You may need to weigh less. You may actually need to weigh more often so one weigh-in carries less emotional weight. You may need another tool entirely. The bigger opportunity is learning that you have options. You do not have to guarantee that the weight will never change again. Can you trust yourself to respond if it does?
