The Inside Out Challenge

Build self-confidence from the inside out, one choice at a time.

Most people don’t struggle because they don’t know what to do. They struggle because of how they see themselves.

Think about how much of what you do in life is influenced, if not driven, by how you see yourself.

So many of us have gone through life, especially in weight loss thinking that we need to change who we are to be happy. By doin this for as long as we have “years, maybe even decades” it becomes very easy to tear ourselves down, one thought at a time, one “flaw” at a time.

We’re going to do the exact opposite.

We’re going to build ourselves up, one step at a time, one choice at a time, one decision at a time.

And that’s what brings us to the Inside/Out Challenge.

What This Challenge Is

This is where you show up every day and find at least one thing that you like about yourself.

That can be:

  • Something about who you are as a person

  • Something about your physical appearance

  • Or something in between.

Once you find one, you can always add another, and another, and another.

But the goal isn’t to overwhelm yourself.

The goal is to start.

The One-Minute Rule

I recommend maxing this out at 60 seconds in front of a mirror.

That’s it.

You’re simply pointing out things that you like about yourself.

If you want to do it multiple times a day, you can.
But this is meant to be simple, repeatable, and easy to build into your daily routine.

Personally, I like to do it first thing in the morning.

Make It Your Own

This is incredibly personal.

You can:

  • Keep it to yourself

  • Say it in your head

  • Write it down in your notes app

  • Journal it

Or…

You can choose to share it.

Using Social Media with Intention

Let’s be clear about something.

This is not about posting a highlight reel.
This is not about being performative.

This is about being real.

This is about sharing what you actually like, love and are learning to like and love about yourself.

A lot of people say they don’t like the surface-level, fake aspects of social media.

So let’s change that.

Let’s lead with genuine authenticity.
Let’s build self-appreciation.
Let’s build self-love.

And let that turn into real confidence.

If you decide to share your experience:

Or don’t share at all.

This still counts.

Start Today

Take this challenge one day at a time.
One choice at a time.

And pay attention to how you start to feel about yourself as you move forward.
