Navigating Regret: Living a Life True to Yourself

Hey there. We get one life. And for me, the thought of looking back with regret is something I actively work to avoid. Regret often comes from living life based on what we think we’re "supposed" to do, whether that’s following societal expectations or living for someone else’s approval. But when you connect with who you truly are and live in alignment with your values, regret fades.

Life isn’t about doing what's easiest or chasing constant happiness; it’s about living in accordance with your core values and creating a life that feels like yours.

The Six YLF Minimum Daily Actions:

  1. Positive Self-Statements – Start your day with one minute telling yourself what you like about you…inside and out..

  2. Creative Pursuits – Spend five minutes doing something creative that brings you joy.

  3. Journaling – Write for five minutes to clear your mind and reflect.

  4. Time Outdoors – Sit outside for five minutes, disconnected from tecnology.

  5. Exercise – Engage in at least 30 minutes of activity or exercise.

  6. Addition Nutrition – Make one intentional choice to add something nutrient dense to at least one meal.

These practices will anchor you amidst the distractions of modern life, helping you stay grounded and aligned with who you actually are.

So, here’s the big question: Are you living for yourself, or are you stuck in what you feel you’re “supposed” to do? Take a step toward alignment and Join The YLF Experience
