Describe your weight loss journey.: It started at the age of 25 when the doctor said at my weight of 265LBS if I didn’t change I would die of a heart attack like my Mother. I was on 10 different medications for blood pressure, depression, anxiety, asthma etc. And I’ve been on this journey 15 years + now with ups and downs and life changing events as well

What’s a skill you developed as a result of working through your weight loss process?: Listening to what my body is telling me and needs. That I am a strong person more than I thought before. I also can accomplish anything I put my mind too. Also gained great fitness through this community

What has that skill led to outside of weight loss?: Mental toughness! I was mentally tough giving birth and the nurses and doctors complemented me on being strong through one of the most painful events of my life. But also to live myself for who I am!

What advice would you give to someone working through their weight loss journey?: Consistency. Even though you may fail in the morning make a commitment to start over that afternoon. If you need to start over time and time again at least your still trying. Also to listen to you body by taking cues on how you feel. If you starving 9 times out of 10 you dehydrated etc

What's something most people don't know about you that has nothing to do with weight loss?: Dream job is a singer. Birthdays on New Years. I would love to start a fitness graphic tee biz and workout attire. I want to write a book of my struggles and my triumphs
