What’s one habit you do almost daily?: Track my food, and move my body (exercise)

What’s one of your normal routines?: Fasting overnight for a minimum of 12 hours.

How long did it take for the above routine to stick? : It was immediate for me.

Describe your weight loss journey.: A series of lifestyle changes that saved my life, resulting in over 300 lbs lost, allowing me to count each day as a blessing, and truly live, rather than merely exist.

What’s a skill you developed as a result of working through your weight loss journey?:I'm learning to be a certified personal trainer to help people win the fight against obesity.

What has that skill led to outside of weight loss?: Hopefully it will translate into a coaching career. But it's still a new idea for me.

What have you learned about yourself over the last year or so?: Over the last 3 years, I've found out how strong a person can be, when they have to be.

What advice would you give to someone working through their weight loss journey?:Every great journey begins with a single step, but a single step doesn't make it a journey. Do not give up after a week, because the process takes time and effort. The time you gain from choosing health is worth the effort, and will mean more than the number of pounds lost.

What are you working on now?: Writing my story, coaching, and finishing my personal training classes. And I'm physically working on lowering my body fat, and increasing my strength.
