The Your Level Fitness Podcast 029: B.
Where’s the best place for listeners to connect with you?: Instagram.com/briciodoesketo
What’s one habit you do almost daily?:Drinking a gallon of water is like the main thing I always do. I start with 2 glasses of water first thing I wake up
What’s one of your normal routines?: Making sure that I have a clear set plan of dinner. I can usually fast until then, but I always want to have dinner plans set to keep me accountable
How long did it take for the above routine to stick? : It took me a few months honestly. There would be some days where I would just say fuck it and I would beat myself up the next day. So I learned that just sticking to a meal plan will be the best way to hold myself accountable.
Describe your weight loss journey.: It’s been an incredible ride. Ups and down. Forwards and backwards. I know deep down if I wouldn’t have allowed myself to fall apart at certain times..I would be very advanced in my journey but I take the good with the bad.
What’s a skill you developed as a result of working through your weight loss journey?:Patience and understanding for myself and what I chose to do. I can only push myself and not let others opinions of judgement get to me.
What has that skill led to outside of weight loss?: Being more comfortable with who I am and slightly ever so slightly more comfortable with my skin. It’s still a work in progress
What have you learned about yourself over the last year or so?: That I definitely have the ability to stick to something and follow through and make something of myself.
What advice would you give to someone working through their weight loss journey?:It’s never gonna be easy. Listen to your body. Drink your water. Not everybody will be the same. What may work for others may not work for you. Doesn’t matter what journey you are taking..go for it all the way!
What resources would you recommend listeners check out?: Pinterest,
Instagram accounts
And Facebook groups can offer some help
What are you working on now?: Still have a long way to go! I want to lose another 100+lbs and I know what I need to do. Getting back on track is easy once you know exactly what to do!
Is there anywhere else you’d like to point listeners to? Please provide link if possible:Find people that are on the same journey as you and share. Sometimes you will find others are going through the exact same thing and can offer tips and help.
